I love turtles. It hurts my heart to think about the suffering they face because of human carelessness and selfishness. When I look at them, I see strength, and I wish we treated them with more care.

That love is part of why I created these little turtle painting kits. Holding one of these cement turtles in my hand and bringing it to life with paint gives me joy. My hope is that you feel a little of that joy, too—and a closer connection to the real turtles that inspire them.

Some afternoons call for a little color and a little coastal fun. Our DIY Sea Turtle Painting Kit brings both to your table, with three unpainted cement turtles waiting for your personal touch.

Make them your own

Choose ocean blues and sea-glass greens, try bright tropical colors, or give each turtle a completely different personality. There is no single right way to paint them. The fun is in making something that feels like you.

Set aside an afternoon for yourself, share a painting session with someone you love, or create a handmade gift for a turtle-loving friend. With three turtles in the set, you can build a matching trio or mix things up.

What comes in the kit?

A few ideas to get started

Cover your work surface, lay out your supplies, and choose a few favorite colors. Try a sandy-colored shell with turquoise details, a sunset-inspired combination, or cheerful dots and patterns. Let each layer dry before adding the next detail.

The painted turtles in our photos are examples to spark your imagination. Your turtles arrive unpainted, ready for you to create your own version.

A little BeachsideFun to give or keep

This kit is $35 plus shipping. Give the unpainted kit as a creative gift, or paint the turtles yourself and give a finished piece with your own personal touch.
